| WARNING, 1990-97 Miatas: If 1990-97 Miata is not equipped with a switch to activate heater/defogger, the heater grid is automatically activated when the fan switch is turned on. To avoid damage to top or area behind seats DO NOT turn on Fan, Heater, or Air Conditioner when top is lowered. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
1990-97 Miata Three Wire Connector. To install our 2960/2961, 2962/2963 or 2916/2917 tops with Heater/Defroster glass on *1990-97 models requires purchasing Mazda OE three wire connector Part # N007-67-060A. This three wire connector is available at Mazda dealers in the U.S. for approximately $135.00.
*1990 models are not wired for defroster. Any attempt to wire these vehicles for rear defrost should be performed by an automotive wiring professional. Many 1991-95 models are not equipped with a separate switch to operate the defroster. Use caution as these operate when the fan switch is turned to any ON position. |
